The Rural Tourism Centre “Fuente del Oso” is located in the heart of the Cantabrian Mountain Chain, at North of the Leon Province. The town where it is placed receives the name of Aviados, in the Municipality of Valdepielago; in the region of “Montaña Central Leonesa”
How to get there from León: Follow the road LE-311, León-Coyanzo, until reaching the “Estación de Matallana”. Then take the deviation “La Vecilla” through the regional road C-626. After passing La Valcueva Town, there is a deviation on the left hand side that goes to Aviados Town, where the Rural Tourism Centre “Fuente del Oso” is located.
It is also possible to get to Aviados by train: take “Tren de FEVE”, that departs from the station of Matallana de León. ((Have a look at the schedule here))
From Asturias: State Road 630 until La Robla, and then take the deviation “La Vecilla” through the regional road C.626. After passing La Valcueva Town, there is a deviation on the left hand side that goes to Aviados Town, where the Rural Tourism Centre “Fuente del Oso” is located.
